The town was built specifically for the series in North Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia
Tale
Unravel the mystery of a town in the central US that traps anyone who enters it. As the residents struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest. Known as Beaver Bank Villa, the site has a long history and many years ago contained housing units, a community hall, a fire station, a school, a church, a grocery store, etc. (all demolished by 2004) to support the workers at the nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s.
Martin did not drop the rope
All that remains are the paved streets and driveways, and a faux town has been built on top of them. When Boyd enters a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well. A rope is lowered down to him. When Boyd emerges from the well, only Martin is in the room, chained to the wall.
This show was so much better than I expected
Appears in Half in the Bag: 2022 Mid-Year Catch-Up Part 1 (TV Shows) (2022). Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be) Written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans Performed by The Pixies. I thought the whole premise didn’t have much potential, but this was something else. However, I still have so many questions that need to be answered, especially after the last scenes of the season 2 finale (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing).
This one has potential
I think we deserved at least some answers before we had to wait for season 3. But I have to say, after the finale I was blown away! I just hope the show creators keep it at this level and don’t even improve it. I’m sick of good shows that the creators completely ruin.
