Mufasa, a lost and lonely lion cub, meets a friendly lion named Taka, an heir to royal blood. A chance encounter sets off a long journey for a group of misfits in search of their destiny. James Earl Jones, who played Mufasa from 1994 to 2019, died at the age of 93 on September 9, 2024. When offered the role, he declined, and this film is dedicated to his memory.
