"Mufasa: The Lion King" enlists Rafiki to convey the legend of Mufasa to Kiara, the daughter of Simba and Nala, and signed by Timon and Pumbaa. The story, told in flashbacks, shows Mufasa as an orphaned cub, lost and alone, until he meets a sympathetic lion named Taka – the heir to the royal bloodline. The chance encounter sets off an expansive journey for an extraordinary group of misfits in search of their destiny – their bonds tested as they work together to evade a threatening and deadly enemy.
