Nothing up until this point has even come remotely close to it
I have to say that I was lucky enough a few years ago to have watched The Bureau and to be honest, it is probably one of the best things I have ever seen. There’s a correlation between the two series, obviously it was mentioned that it was “influenced” by it, but to be honest, I wasn’t expecting a similar plot. Don’t get me wrong, the series up until this point is amazing, great cast, good cinematography, but it wasn’t something I hadn’t already seen in the French version.
You won’t regret it
It’s too early to say what it will be like, but I highly recommend anyone who hasn’t seen The Bureau to give it a watch. After Fassbender played a professional assassin in David Fincher’s film The Killer, and I saw that he was cast, I immediately knew that he was a great choice for the role. These kinds of shows really require a certain amount of concentration while watching, so that you can follow all the characters in the story and the little details about them.
It’s not something you would watch while riding a bike on an indoor trainer
Some would even consider them slow, maybe even boring, but it’s exactly these characteristics and complicated personal struggles that the characters have, plus the slow build-up of tension, that makes them great in my opinion. These kinds of shows, you either love them or you don’t, there’s no middle ground.
